Pizza Night with Publix Viva Italia & Cash Giveaway - Laughing and Losing It

Pizza Night with Publix Viva Italia & Cash Giveaway

Publix Viva Italia Days Sale

You’ve got to love savings, and you’ve got to love Italian Night!  Right now at Publix you’ll find in-store savings on some of your favorite Italian inspired ingredients to create your own yummy feast at home. Savings last from February 18 2016 through March 2 2016.  We went with Pizza–a kid pleaser and family favorite.

We started with these ingredients–Hunts, Green Giant, & Pizza dough ALL on sale!

Ingredients

We also grabbed some shredded mozzarella from Publix and Publix Peperoni.  Here’s how the Viva Italia Pizza Party happened at my house.

First we opened the Pillsbury Pizza Dough, and pinched off small balls.  We squished the balls into the shape of our choosing onto a prepped baking sheet.  This sweetie chose a heart shape!

PrepPizzaDough

Then we layered the sauce.  We always choose light sauce when ordering in–but this was our home cooked night.  So we gently spread Hunts Tomato Sauce on our pizza dough shape, sprinkled salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning.  Then we layered cheese and pepperoni.

Saucethepizza

Grab some Green Giant veggies, on sale at Publix, for a healthy side dish.  OR!  Get creative and pile some of the veggies ON the pizza.  I put a few pieces of broccoli right on my pizza-YUM!

After about 8 minutes, we had delicious, bubbling mini-pizzas for dinner.

FinishedPizza

Make it fun, get the kids involved with the prepwork, and enjoy!  There is really so much you can create with the Italian-Inspired products on sale at Publix.  Check out Publix Viva Italia for additional recipes and information on in-sotre savings.

I want to make the Pork Shoulder Sugo. I like slow-cooker recipes because they’re easy.
