My baby was just born last week. Actually almost 13 months ago. You know the feeling? You blink your eyes and suddenly your tiny, pink little one is doing his best to empty the cupboards and keep up with older siblings. He stood up on his own just two days ago and everyone gasped. Any day now my little man will be on the move using two appendages rather than four to make the most of his toddler schemes.
He is my buddy, along with three-year-old big brother, and he tags along everywhere. Including our trip to Sam’s Club to stock up on Huggies Snug & Dry diapers. Little big man is in a SIZE 4 (Stop growing wee one!!!). But I have to keep up with the inevitable and that includes the messes. Huggies is my go-to brand for all my babies. And baby number four is no exception.
I love stocking up on Huggies Snug & Dry diapers at Sam’s Club because it just makes sense. Buy one big box and be set for a while instead of plowing through the small packs. And we REALLY do plow through them. The price is great too. As a Sam’s Club member I save over $10 on my 200 count box of Huggies Snug & Dry. Oh and right now moms can redeem the Ibotta offer of $7 off Huggies Snug & Dry when purchased from Sam’s Club. My baby is comfortable, and I can save some cash–perfect.
You can find Huggies Snug & Dry at Sam’s Club near the toiletries and wellness items.
Huggies Snug & Dry Sensory Activity
You may already know that Huggies Snug & Dry diapers keep baby protected and dry for up to 12 hours. But have you ever explored why? That’s exactly what me and my little man did in this fun, easy sensory activity.
Safety note: supervise your child at all times during any sensory play. This activity is best for babies and toddlers who are past the “Put Everything In My Mouth” stage. My little guy is far past that so we had some fun.
Cut the Huggies Snug & Dry Diaper
I know, I know. Diapers don’t grow on trees. But you will only need one. And the fun is quite worth it. Cut open the Huggies Snug & Dry diaper. Try to only cut the top layer–do not perforate the entire thing.
Expose the fluffy, grainy material and empty it into two containers.
Place the containers on the floor, and sit with your little guy. Pour water into one container and watch the material expand and take on a rich, gooey texture. Watch as little man explores the feel of these materials and have your camera ready.
Outside is best for this activity. And this guy loves to be outside anyway.
More Ways to Play:
- Place just one drop of food coloring in different containers and see how the color spreads.
- Place the soaked material in a plastic bag for less mess.
- Control the amounts of water to compare different saturation.
Even the older two girls couldn’t keep their hands off this fun experience. PS, this would make a great at-home science lesson!
It was fun to use a little imagination to bond with my growing sweetie. But I’m just glad that I have 199 more to keep my baby happy and dry as he grows and scoots to new adventures.
