Shandali Travel Towel Review - Laughing and Losing It

Shandali Travel Towel Review

Disclosure: I got this product as part of an advertorial.

Feature ImageGuess what Santa brought me just in time for Christmas!!?  A Shandali Travel Towel!  It came on my doorstep at 8:00 p.m. Christmas Eve, and I put it under the tree–just for fun.  I’ve tried it for a few days and I am so excited to share my Shadali Travel Towel Review.

Product Description:

This towel is soft like velvet and thin.  The feel reminds me of the fabric in a high-end yoga pant.  I ordered the larger size:  24X48 inches.  It also comes in 20X40 inches.  You can see more options by visiting the Shandali website.

What I love about this Towel

This towel says “LOOK WHAT I CAN DO!!”

Wet Arm

I poured water over my arm in the before photo (and this close-up is making me seriously consider arm-waxing, but that’s another post for another time).  After you see a completely dry arm. I simply draped the towel over my arm without rubbing or moving.  It soaked up in a matter of seconds.  I was impressed.

I hang up my towels to dry, but they often fall down from the hook.  Look what they put on this towel for clumsy people like me??  A little loop!  How nice!

Size and Storage

The towel is huge, but folds small.  To illustrate how small this thing can get, I laid the Shandali Travel Towel next to an ordinary bath towel on my couch.  Then I folded both towels as small as possible.  Look at the difference!!  This would go easily in a gym bag, suitcase, or even a purse.

My Kids Fought Over It

No, I don’t really need one more thing for my children to fight over, but because they fought over the Shandali Travel Towel, it is basically a girlie stamp of approval from my almost three and six-year-old daughters.  This towel wrapped nicely around my six-year-old and dried her up in a matter of seconds after a shower.  I let me toddler use it after my six-year-old, and there was still plenty of absorbency to dry her little wet body in a matter of seconds.  I’d say it’s worth the fight! 😉

It’s just pretty.

pretty blue

Look at that deep blue color.  It’s pretty and makes me feel like I’m in a spa instead of a grimy bathroom long overdue for a big scrub-down.

A Hair Towel

This is the thing that excites me the most about the Shandali Travel Towel–using it as a hair towel.   I have a huge mess of hair.  It’s down to my bra strap now, and it’s thick!  I always wrap my hair in a towel, but the big, bulky bath towels weight down my head and hair.  The Shandali Travel Towel is lightweight, and super absorbent = dry hair minus the headache and pull.

I really, honestly can’t find anything wrong with this product.   I absolutely love it.  I only wish I had more.  One for the car, one for the bathroom, a few small ones for the kitchen, and one for my gym bag.  I can’t wait to see what they come up with next!
